This role leads the Business Partnering function, supporting our Global People and Operations at British Airways. An inspiring leader, you'll manage a first class team of around 40 colleagues around the world, to ensure the delivery of the People Strategy and be the driver behind key streams of the People Transformation Plan.

**About the role**:

- Leadership of People Business Partnering Team, providing knowledge, guidance and support on a range of employment related initiatives
- Accountable for the delivery of the People Strategy throughout the organisation, ensuring local people plans are developed across all directorates to deliver our colleague centric strategy and transformation plan..
- Works closely with all COE’s within the people team, building trusted and effective relationships, with the ability to influence key decisions impacting our colleagues.
- Builds a high performing team focused on both ‘what’ is delivered, and ‘how’. Provides a blend of challenge, support, and space to optimise performance of individuals and the team
- Understands and utilises data and insights to improve business performance, specifically; absence, attrition, exit data, engagement, inclusion and diversity representation.
- Acts as a conscience of the organisation - holding a mirror up to the business at all levels and challenging behaviours, ensuring constructive tension and push towards our values.
- Ensures organisational design is optimised; capitalising on opportunities to transform ways of working and driving business performance by increasing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Member of the Corporate Safety & Security Board and Chair of the BA Safeguarding board.

**About you**:

- Experience business partnering with senior leaders.
- Experience of working in a complex and matrixed business.
- Able to drive engagement, advocacy and role satisfaction within the team, to build a happy, impactful team.
- IR experience (preferred but not essential)
- CIPD (preferred but not essential)
