**St. Luke's Hospice is a locally-based charity dedicated to providing compassionate care to individuals facing incurable diseases. We aim to uphold dignity and empower decision-making in the final stages of life.**
We are currently looking for a diligent and dedicated Hospice Rapid Access Service Administrator (HRAS Administrator) to join our team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who is passionate about healthcare and provision of high-quality services.
**About the role**
The HRAS Administrator will handle the daily administrative tasks of the Hospice Rapid Access Service (HRAS) and ensure the service functions smoothly. The individual will liaise closely with healthcare professionals, patients/relatives/carers and other care providers to ensure the timely delivery of palliative care services.
**Salary**: £21,448 - £26,386 per year
**Contract**: Permanent
**Hours**: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
**Location**: Basildon Hospice
**Main responsibilities include**:
- Managing day-to-day administrative tasks for HRAS
- Assisting in the coordination and scheduling of palliative care services
- Maintaining detailed patient records and ensuring confidentiality of all patient-related information
- Liaising with healthcare professionals to ensure the timely delivery of services to patients.
- To be responsible for the accurate data collection for the purpose of service activity reporting
**About you**:
- Previous administrative experience within a healthcare setting
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
- Commitment to the mission and values of St. Luke's Hospice
