**About the Role**:
As a Quality Assurance and Compliance Administrator, you will play a critical role in upholding our commitment to excellence and integrity in all aspects of our work. You will be responsible for supporting the Director of Care and Commissioning with the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality assurance and compliance programmes to ensure we adhere to Care Quality Commission (CQC) and other statutory and regulatory compliance. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the continuous improvement of our services and quality of care our patients and their families receive.

**Salary and Contract Details**:

- **Salary**: £21,448 - £26,386 per year, depending on experience
- **Contract**: Permanent
- **Hours**: Part-time, 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
- **Location**: Basildon Hospice, with some flexibility for remote work

**Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Support the Registered Manager to monitor and evidence that the Hospice meets compliance standards and regulations.
- To administer the Policy System as the Policy Review Administrator (PRA) ensuring Hospice compliance.
- To help plan and co-ordinate engagement opportunities with service users to gain their feedback.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards, including CQC, National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), NHS England, GDPR, to ensure the Hospice remains compliant.
- Offering guidance and support to staff on compliance-related matters, fostering a proactive approach to quality and compliance.

**About You**:

- Confident IT user with experience using and inputting data
- Proven experience in within a healthcare setting
- An understanding of healthcare regulations and standards, including CQC requirements
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across various departments
