**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Assist with preparing Tenders for jobs
- Prepare reports on job costing,
- Compiling tender files
- Forward ordering project materials as quantified.
- Asist in the preparation of variations, valuations, final accounts. Ensuring the agreed submission dates are achieved.
- Prepare weekly reports on job progress
- Preparation of final accounts.
- Review and interpretation of tender documents, specifications, contracts & other related materials
- Assessing labour costs
- Effective liaison, support and assistance between the tender process department, Senior Management, rest of Organisation.
- Support the compilation of Quality Tender Submissions
- Monitoring of the tender submission process for accuracy, formatting, completeness, consistency, and compliance
- Monitoring of the overall performance of the tender process to obtain maximum efficiency, quality, service and profitability for the organisation
- Partaking in pre-, mid
- & post-tender meetings
- Maintaining accurate records and managing data related to the tendering process
- Assist in streamlining tender processes.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- 3rd level Qualification in Quantity Surveying / Construction or other relevant discipline considered an advantage but not essential.
- Strong operational skills and an attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customers focus skills and attitude
- Analytical thinker with demonstrated problem solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft excel and project
- Driven Team player
- Exceptional Organisational skills
- Experience of Cost X or Buildsoft would be an advantage
- Experience of Auto Cad and BIM systems would be an advantage
- Sound working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite.
