About the Role
This Band 6 position is a unique opportunity for a motivated physiotherapist to work within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the development of specialist treatment plans and providing rehabilitative input to patients with complex stroke presentations.
Main Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients with various stroke conditions, utilizing advanced assessment and treatment techniques.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring high-quality care and effective outcomes.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Pursue quality improvement initiatives and contribute to local and national audits, enhancing service development.
- Serve as a clinical expert, supervising junior staff and students, while fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Engage in professional development opportunities, staying updated on best practices and emerging trends in stroke rehabilitation.
Requirements
- Holding a BSC Physiotherapy Degree and being registered with the HCPC.
- Prior experience in various clinical specialties, including stroke rehabilitation, and strong MDT working skills.
- Familiarity with SNAP and evidence of ongoing professional development, such as completion of a clinical educator course.
- Able to work autonomously, make informed decisions, and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is estimated at £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
