Salary: £46,148 - £52,809 per annum

Job Description: As a Clinical Lead Physiotherapist, you will lead our Intermediate care Bedded unit therapy team, working alongside the Occupational Therapy Team lead to provide assessment and interventions to individuals requiring rehabilitation on discharge from hospital. You will have significant post-registration experience in the NHS, including community and/or rehabilitation settings, covering various clinical areas. Your expertise will support service development and represent the unit within the trust.

Main Duties:
  • Lead a team of therapists, providing professional support to physiotherapists and managing staff within the Therapy team.
  • Work closely with nurse managers in the day-to-day running of the unit, ensuring effective patient interventions and timely patient flow.
  • Provide leadership to the unit, supporting service development and representing the unit within the wider trust.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • BSc/MSc physiotherapy qualification
  • HCPC registration
  • Significant post-registration NHS experience in rehabilitation settings
  • Evidence of wide clinical theoretical knowledge base and specialist knowledge of multiple pathologies and ageing
  • Experience of working as part of an integrated MDT
