Baby Room Leader

**Duties**:

- Lead and supervise the baby room staff
- Create and implement engaging activities for children
- Plan and assess children to support their developmental needs
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children
- Communicate effectively with parent/carers regarding their child's progress
- Provide a nurturing and supportive environment for children
- Support children and their parent/carers with the settling process
- Following the nursery's policies and procedures

**Skills**:

- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Strong drive and passion for childcare
- Experience working with children in a nursery setting
- Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parent/carers, and staff
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Skills
- Knowledge of safeguarding and food hygiene
- Paediatric First Aid trained is desired but not essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
