KiddyKare are seeking a Deputy Manager for well-established nursery based in Chertsey. This role would also be a great opportunity for a strong room leader that is looking for career progression.

Supported with its incredible outside environment and its own private parking, this setting provides a home from home feel for the children, carers, and staff.

The Deputy Manager will be predominantly supernumerary however remain a floor-based individual. They will work alongside the room leaders to develop practice in the room with the focus on quality and provision.

The ideal candidate must hold a Level 3 or above in Childcare and have at least 3 years’ experience in a nursery setting.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Deputy Manager;

* To effectively deliver the EYFS ensuring that the individual needs and interests of children in the setting are met

* To develop the observation, methodology and implementation of learning and curriculum within the setting.

* Liaising with schools to ensure that children are school ready.

* To work with room leaders of all rooms to develop practise within the setting to ensure we are providing a high-quality environment.

* To hold 1-1 and supervisions meetings when necessary

* Help to plan and run nursery events.

* To undertake and lead on additional responsibilities such as SENCO, training co-ordinator, safeguarding officer.
