About the RoleThe Deputy Nursery Manager will be responsible for supporting the nursery manager in leading and managing the nursery team. This will include overseeing the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, contributing to the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities and experiences, and ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of all children in the nursery.
Key Responsibilities- Support the nursery manager in leading and managing the nursery team.
- Oversee the delivery of the EYFS curriculum.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities and experiences.
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and development of all children in the nursery.
- Support and mentor staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and external stakeholders.
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years.
- Proven experience working in a nursery setting, with supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and statutory requirements.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when necessary.
- Current First Aid and Safeguarding certificates.
