**This is a part-time role (32 hours per week) working shifts (alternating between dayshift and afternoon/evening shift) with a team and includes a morning shift every second Saturday.**

Duties
- Greet and welcome clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar
- Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- Process payments for services rendered and provide clients with invoices or receipts
- Maintain accurate records of patient visits, treatments, and medications
- Provide basic information to clients regarding common veterinary procedures, medications, and preventive care

**Skills**:

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy

This post would suit someone who enjoys working with both people and animals. Duties will include some animal husbandry and cleaning. Reception experience and/or an animal nursing assistant qualification are preferred but not essential.

**Salary**: National Minimum Wage (based on age)
