**Key Duties**
- Support the SHRN Knowledge Exchange and External Affairs Manager in the creation of a new digital engagement and communications strategy and make recommendations to the SHRN Senior Team to embed digital communications and engagement activity across the network.
- Provide professional advice, guidance and training on digital communications, using judgement and creativity to suggest the most appropriate course of action, and best practice, ensuring complex and conceptual issues are clearly conveyed and understood.
- Establish excellent working relationships and links with key contacts, including SHRN colleagues, stakeholders and partners in order to build network activity and to maintain up-to-date knowledge regarding SHRN developments.
- Proactively explore customer needs, including consulting with colleagues, partners, and network users, and adapt the service accordingly to ensure a quality service is delivered.
- Report on SHRN digital content and engagement KPIs and create relevant analytic reports across all online channels and platforms to the senior SHRN Team.
- Support the management and development of SHRN’s online presence, producing and editing high quality written copy for a wide range of audiences and purposes, to include the website, e-newsletters and social media.
- Work with third-party suppliers and internal teams to create, commission and curate a new and engaging web site to include community spaces, videos, infographics, and blog posts and other web content from a range of contributors including colleagues, young people and other stakeholders.
- Ensure the ongoing stability and functionality of the SHRN website and other digital products, including planning, incorporating and testing all new developments including a CRM platform and digital dashboard.
- Organise and facilitate digital events using online promotional media for meetings, webinars and conferences, etc.
- Use graphic design packages such as CANVA, MS Publisher and other editing software to create engaging content to support communication

**Person Specification**
**Essential Criteria**
- Relevant Degree/NVQ 4 or equivalent Professional membership/experience
- Substantial experience of working within a communications role with specialist and recent experience of producing digital communications content (including a broad knowledge of writing for online platforms, content management systems and the user experience).
- Proven experience of producing high quality engaging and accurate copy for use in digital print, web sites and video communications for a range of audiences and ability to take complex information and translate it into digestible content without losing the substance of the piece
- Able to demonstrate professional knowledge within the fields of communications and digital content production to give advice and guidance to internal and external customers.
- Proven experience of organising and delivering digital events
- Highly developed ICT skills, including a working knowledge of building and maintaining websites, analytics, social media, e-newsletter platforms, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher and digital engagement tools, CRM and Geco.
- Ability to build effective working relationships and communicate conceptually detailed, complex and technical information effectively and professionally with a wide range of people.
- Evidence of ability to explore customers’ needs and adapt the service accordingly to ensure a quality service is delivered.
- Evidence of ability to solve expansive problems using initiative and creativity; identifying and proposing practical solutions and resolving problems with range of potential outcomes
- Evidence of ability to work unsupervised to deadlines, planning and setting priorities for own work and that of others and monitoring progress.
**Desirable Criteria**
- Evidence of demonstrable knowledge of key advances within the fields of communications and digital content production
- Experience of line management, training and supervising others.
- A willingness to undertake further training and development
- Fluency in Welsh, written and oral
