**WHAT TO EXPECT**
The MPM (Manufacturing Programme Management) department has responsibility for leading & co-ordinating all business functions with the objective of achieving flawless new product launches, with achievement of time, cost and quality targets. MPM provide the Single Point of Contact for Industrial Operations. This requires interaction & co-ordination of Manufacturing, Product Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Finance, Suppliers and the Commercial activities.

An opportunity has arisen for a Programme Management Officer to lead the standardisation and integration of the Programme Management team across the propulsion projects (currently covering engines, batteries & electric drive units).

In this role, you will guide the teams through better continuity and maintenance of standards, enable collaboration, ensure Scorecard adherence, guide the team through Quality Audit compliance and help guide us through the Agile ways of working.

Home site will be Whitley, with a requirement of travel to other sites in UK to support programmes.

**WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR**
- Standardisation and simplification of all MPM delivery tools (Financial, delivery, scorecard, escalation)
- Ensure adherence to MPM scorecard
- Manufacturing Strategy Committee Planning
- Key lead into upcoming project & cost proposals, streamlining through a central system of governance
- Management and planning of Quarterly Business Review Presentation Packs
- Group Communications
- Development of Programme Dashboard
- Ensure conformity to company environmental standards within the scope of the role
- Ensure conformity to company safety standards within the scope of the role
- Lead Problem Solving on major issues
- Run MPM Propulsion Audit schedule

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED**
Essential:

- Experience in using data driven problem solving techniques
- Experience of working in a quality focussed role
- Microsoft package elements (Power Point & Excel)
- Demonstrable experience of process improvement and working in a project support role
- Proven ability to interface cross functionally and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
- Proficient communication and organisational skill
- Experience of metric and reporting delivery to support programme delivery

Desirable:

- An understanding of manufacturing concepts and strategies
- Experience of using Agile methodologies
- Proven ability to manage significant risks and issues
- Experience of project management from Concept to Launch
- Experience of working in a new product launch environment
- Awareness of the importance of safety systems
