**WHAT TO EXPECT**

This role is integral to drive and manage the revenue and the margin of the Global Parts & Accessories business within Global Customer Care. This business currently generates £2,000m of annual revenue.

The Parts Pricing & Margin Management team is assuring that JLR is generating the best possible gross margin within this business unit while also considering the interests of end consumers and business partners, including definition of the pricing strategy, market research, definition of prices for new parts, monitoring and managing of margins and prices for existing parts.

The Senior Manager of the Pricing & Margin Management team will have the opportunity to drive further enhancements in the depth of margin management by embracing the new pricing tool that has been implemented most recently. This tool is opening up new insights and new opportunities to manage gross margin.

The team is recognised and well respected as the global experts for parts pricing by all stakeholders like regions, markets, finance, purchasing, engineering etc. This role will further strengthen the service provider approach of this team to the wider business, strengthen the existing relationships and cross-functional collaboration while striving for the best possible margin for Jaguar Land Rover.

This role will have close relationships with the leaders of the global customer care and finance organisation.

**THE ROLE**

Key Responsibilities
- Leadership of the Parts Pricing & Margin Management team including:

- Product experts team deriving a reference price file for the whole product portfolio
- Market experts team deriving relevant price lists for all global markets
- Compliance specialist
- Trademark & PI protection specialist
- Competitive price research specialist
- Special projects manager
- Management of the following operational processes:

- Definition of parts pricing strategy.
- Competitor research for parts and accessories prices.
- Support product development process with estimated prices for new parts and features to be used in product business cases.
- Definition of prices for new parts and features for launch.
- Monitor and manage gross margin of existing parts in close cooperation with finance and purchasing.
- Definition, deployment and maintenance of relevant price lists for all global markets.
- Assure compliance on all pricing processes incl. governance.
- Identify and prosecute trademark and PI infringements on parts and accessories.
- Enable continuous improvement of the operational processes within the team.

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED**

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Profound knowledge and experience of pricing methodologies and approaches, ideally on hardware and features in a non-transparent market
- Profound knowledge and experience of revenue and margin management combined with a strong business acumen.
- Strong analytical skill set
- Excellent communication skills and ability to demonstrate complex facts
- Proven track record of managing internal/external service providers
- A proven track record of being focussed on delivering results.

Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Good understanding of the core customer service processes in automotive or similar industries (e.g. agricultural machinery)
- Experience in managing pricing globally including managing cross-border sales
- Basic understanding of global trading conditions and relevant factors like duties, taxes etc.
- Basic understanding of processes, approaches, and tools for data analytics
