Senior Care Assistant

We are looking for local people who are passionate about providing an outstanding level of care and going the extra mile for our residents. We currently have a vacancy at our Heanor Park Care home working full time hours a week.
As a **Senior Care Assistant **with Ashmere you will be communicating effectively and professionally with the residents, colleagues, relatives and visitors at all times. You will show compassion towards our residents and ensuring that their needs are met. You will assist with personal care and assist with meal times when needed.
You will be responsible for staff allocation, administrating medication, liaising with the home manager, GP’s, nurses, and other outside professionals which can all make for a busy shift
You will need an NVQ3 or, working towards completing it. However, we can support you with this should you be successful in gaining a role with us.
Working for an established care provider like Ashmere, you start your journey with us by attending our monthly new starter company induction with all new joiners from all of our homes. We will kit you out with uniform, pay for your DBS check, provide you with regular training and maybe even spoil you with cake from time to time

**Salary**: £11.25-£13.50 per hour
