**Job description**
Local rapidly expanding organisation west of Dumfries are looking to take on another office administrator in their busy engineering site.
You will be joining an existing team of administrators and will be reporting to the Office Manager.
Experience in sage is massively preferred but not completely essential
**Responsibilities**
- Any general admin requiring attention
- Managing the day-to-day Purchasing within the business (gaining quotes, ordering, chasing orders, booking deliveries etc)
- Dealing with supplier returns & quality problems
- Inputting purchasing invoice ledgers on Sage and dealing with any invoice issues.
- Booking transport
- Recruitment - creating and uploading adverts and compiling CV’s
- Manning the general enquiry inbox
- Answering the main phone, opening mail and directing to correct individuals
- Scanning of any documents onto network
- Social Media - maintaining social media presence by creating content
- General administration & office duties
- Cover for other departments holidays
**Commitments**
- Permanent full time role based at site west of Dumfries.
- Administrative experience
- Good communication skills
- Previous knowledge of Sage 50
- Effective time management skills
- Efficient in Microsoft word/ excel
**Other**
Salary offered is between £24,000 & £29,000 per year dependant on experience.
- Salary is reviewed and increased through company appraisal scheme
