Role Description:
We’re offering an exciting opportunity for entrepreneurial individuals, who are eager to get ‘hands on’ experience working for an exciting and emerging sports brand.The internship is for a 9-month unpaid placement starting on 1st July 2023. Job Specification:
You will be required to work four days per week, with one day dedicated for studying and knowledge acquisition through online/in-person courses - this will make up the five day working week of Monday to Friday. You will be required to attend the London-based office a minimum of once per week on a specified day and work/study remotely for the other four.

You will be working closely with the Teamwear Team, with the Head of Teamwear as your Line Manager. You’ll be responsible for generating outbound leads and managing inbound leads taking customers from initial discussions all the way through to placing an order.

Key Responsibilities:
Building a pipeline of outbound sales.
Liaising with manufacturers on a daily basis, placing orders and managing weekly production sheets. Ensuring that orders are being dispatched on time.
Planning a clear strategy to grow the Y1 brand across a wide range of sports at university campuses.
Following our Y1 “sales playbook” closely and having weekly catch ups with the Head of Teamwear; to feedback on progress.
Showing our bespoke, high quality clothing samples to sports committees.
Creating engaging and professional proposals convincing clubs to work with us.
Creating mock-up designs for clients (no design experience needed).
Getting documents approved and signed by the decision maker at the club so we can start production.
Giving clients a clear process from production through to delivery and giving them weekly updates. It is very important to be proactive during this stage of the process.
Working closely with campus brand managers on delivery, making sure clubs have received their invoice and will pay in a timely fashion.
Maintaining strong relationships once an order is complete to ensure we gain repeat orders in the future.
Getting photos and videos of custom stash so we can grow the presence of our bespoke products on social media. This is where we gain lots of new customers.

**Required Skills**:
Strong with Microsoft Excel (or equivalent)
Literate with Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Outlook (or equivalents)

Compensation:
Funding your University Placement Year fees
