**Whittlebury Park is looking for an Estate Land Activities Co-Ordinator to join its small existing team.**
Working mostly outside within the Whittlebury Estate, we are looking for a flexible, enthusiastic person to join our small outdoor events team.
The role involves setting up and operating activity days such as clay pigeon shooting and other outdoor events. A significant part of the role will be to set up and operate our seasonal event campsite throughout the summer season including the British Grand Prix and Moto GP. This will involve sourcing various equipment such as temporary roadway, generators fencing as well as entertainment for guests.
In-between events your role will be to ensure that the grounds and equipment are well maintained. A driving licence is essential and a trailer & Shotgun licence are preferred. The ability to drive farm machinery such as tractors & telehandlers is also preferred but not essential as training will be given.
**MAIN OBJECTIVES & JOB ROLE**:
Assisting with the planning, co-ordination and activation of all outside events that take place on the estate land.
This will include but is not limited to:
- Resource planning
- Event planning
- Sourcing of equipment
- Deployment and set up of equipment
- Event setup and breakdown of events
- Litter picking on smaller events.
- Security provisions including deployment and monitoring
Running and operating all elements of a multi activity day, including set up and break down.
This will include but is not limited to:
- Clay shooting - Hovercraft experience
- Archery - 4 x 4 driving
Maintain all external areas on the Estate.
This will include but is not limited to:
- All areas land management - Keeping the estate tidy
- Grass cutting - Strimming
- Tree trimming - Maintaining hedges
- Drainage work - Painting
**MAIN AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY**:
You will be responsible for assisting with maintaining all of the equipment that is required on the estate, and will be trained in both preventative maintenance and how to repair equipment.
You will be expected to work to a high standard and help set an example for others to follow.
You will be required to work alongside management and members of staff effectively to ensure smooth running of all events and always appear to the customer that you are going the extra mile.
You will need to be competent at time management, and expected to use your initiative to keep yourself busy maintaining the estate. Often you will need to look for jobs to do in order to fulfil your duties so it is important that you make a plan of what needs doing around event requirements to ensure we are doing appropriate work as required.
This will mean that when working under your own initiative you ensure that you only undertake tasks that you have been trained (by the company) to fulfil and that you are comfortable doing.
You will be required to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for many of your duties and you are responsible for ensuring that you wear this when required and for keeping it in good order. You should never undertake a task that you do not have sufficient PPE for and inform your line manager straight away.

**Salary: (40hrs) **£22,000.00-£25,000 per annum depending on experience **+ Overtime**
