Are you passionate about training, educating and empowering staff to care for their patients within our neonatal unit?

To support staff to deliver high quality effective care for patients thus improving the patients’ experience and contribute to the development of programmes of education and training, whilst demonstrating awareness of cultural diversity in the workplace and the need to adapt training accordingly within our 29 bedded neonatal unit

Ability to be a clinical support and act as a resource to colleagues whilst supporting the Matron, Ward Manager and Neonatal Clinical Educator with the identification, planning, co-ordination, delivery and evaluation of educational opportunities, programmes and activities for the whole MDT

To work together with neonatal staff in order for them to achieve their full potential and clinical effectiveness and promoting teamwork within an educational environment, leading and reinforcing the values and standards of compassion and respect in care, demonstrating critical analysis and decision-making skills, leading the delivery of a clinically and educationally excellent, high quality service influencing and facilitating change within directorate and where appropriate the organisation.

The post holder will provide specialist advice in relation to patient care as part of educational activity whilst working across the service with the Neonatal Clinical Educator to develop strategies for education and training within the Neonatal Service supporting change management and to support opportunities for learning in all clinical areas of the Neonatal Service.
