Have you ever wanted to work for the NHS and Make a Difference? Do you have experience of working in a busy office environment? Then this may be the role for you. We have a full time position available to work on our busy wards in Bowmere Hospital. We are looking for an experienced administrator to make this role their own and play an active part in our multidisciplinary team.

This role is to provide the Ward Manager and Ward Team with quality and comprehensive administrative support to the medical staff and multi-disciplinary teams. We are proud of being caring, competent and compassionate, with patients at the heart of what we do. You will play an important part in our aim to provide high quality, safe services which improve the health, well-being and independence of the people within our locality.

**Main duties of the job**:
You must be able to manage your time effectively and be proactive in managing conflicting deadlines and demands. This is a busy role and you will be the go to person for many administrative enquiries from patient records, stock ordering, data acquisition and reporting, auditing and mandatory training booking.

You will be required to support the Administration Team on the ward and there may be occasions where you will be required to minute meetings as and when needed.

Main responsibilities are:
Answering the phone and dealing with queries/directing calls as required

Filing

Ordering dry and clinical stores for 2 wards

Stocktaking to ensure that ward supplies are sufficient

Admin support for the ward manager, ward team and resource manager as and when required

Run compliance reports on supervision and mandatory training and ensure that staff are booked on to any mandatory or ad hoc training as required

Any other ad hoc duties that may arise

**Working for our organisation**:
CWP provides health and care services for local people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care - including the provision of three GP surgeries.

Our aim is to help people to be the best they can be, adopting a compassionate, person-centred approach to everything we do. We were recently rated as Outstanding for Caring by the Care Quality Commission with a Good rating overall.

We offer a variety of roles at all levels, so whether you are just starting out in your career or looking to use your skills and experience in a new role, CWP is the right employer for you.

CWP are committed to making our recruitment practices as inclusive as possible for everyone. We are committed to promoting equality and diversity and developing a culture that values differences.

To support this, we offer up to three weeks induction, dependent on role, with our Prepare to Care programme for all new starters. This aims to give you all the knowledge and guidance to help you grow and flourish with CWP.
