We have a full time position available to work on our busy wards in Bowmere Hospital. We are looking for an experienced administrator to make this role their own and play an active part in our multidisciplinary team.

This role is to provide the Ward Manager and Ward Team with quality and comprehensive administrative support to the medical staff and multi-disciplinary teams. You will play an important part in our aim to provide high quality, safe services which improve the health, well-being and independence of the people within our locality.

You must be able to manage your time effectively and be proactive in managing conflicting deadlines and demands. This is a busy role and you will be the go to person for many administrative enquiries from patient records, stock ordering, data acquisition and reporting, auditing and mandatory training booking.

You will be required to support the Administration Team on the ward and there may be occasions where you will be required to minute meetings as and when needed.

**Main responsibilities are**:
Answering the phone and dealing with queries/directing calls as required

Filing

Ordering dry and clinical stores for 2 wards

Stocktaking to ensure that ward supplies are sufficient

Admin support for the ward manager, ward team and resource manager as and when required

Run compliance reports on supervision and mandatory training and ensure that staff are booked on to any mandatory or ad hoc training as required

Any other ad hoc duties that may arise
