Children's Unit Ward Clerk

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Ward Clerk to join our team in the Children's Unit at the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a brand new state-of-the-art Women and Children's building in 2025.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Children's Unit team, including greeting patients and families, managing appointments, and preparing clinics. They will also be required to work effectively with a variety of staff members and communicate effectively with patients and families.
Key Requirements- Previous customer service experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Organisational skills and attention to detail
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including 27 days' annual leave (rising to 33 after 10 years' service) and access to staff support and health and wellbeing opportunities.
