We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Ward Clerk in the Children's Unit at the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the Children's Unit team, including managing appointments, clinics, and patient records.
- Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and families, using excellent verbal and written skills.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of the unit.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records, using organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic IT skills, including experience with electronic patient records systems.
- A supportive and friendly working environment.
- Excellent holiday entitlements, with 27 days + bank holidays rising to 33 after 10 years' service (pro rata).

The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust provides services to West Cheshire and Welsh patients covered by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.
