Do you have a passion for helping children with physical disabilities and complex needs? If yes, we are looking for someone to join our Physiotherapy team.

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and dedicated Therapy Support Worker with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to plan, prioritise and delegate according to patient and service need. You will be a key player within the Nottinghamshire Therapy Team and be responsible for supporting our Physiotherapists and within a multi-disciplinary team; supporting them in undertaking routine assessments and interventions in accordance with the goal setting process.

You will be required to liaise closely with the senior therapists, support workers, hospital staff, and health and social care professionals. In addition you will act as liaison with patients, families and/or carers and therefore require excellent communication skills.

Applicants should have a minimum of NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent and proven experience working with children with complex health conditions.

A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010

To assist and support therapists as part of the integrated team to deliver agreed programmes of intervention at a variety of locations to meet the needs of the children presenting with short and long-term disability / needs

The post holder will work alongside therapists and independently carry out agreed programmes of care

**Role Context**:
The post holder will work within Nottingham and Nottinghamshire as part of the wider multi
- disciplinary team and will provide a quality, effective, accessible, patient centred service from a skilled workforce for all children referred.

This will include children with a variety of conditions including neurological, orthopaedic, respiratory, functional co-ordination disorder, learning disability and those requiring long term rehabilitation
