**How you'll make a difference**:
As a Business and Administration Support Officer you will make a difference by providing a fully comprehensive and confidential Business and Administration service to allocated Service Managers in our Integrated Children’s Service.

We are currently working in a hybrid way, working from home much of the time. However, there will be occasions where you will need to travel to work from other offices in South Gloucestershire.

**What will you be doing?**
- It will be your responsibility to provide advice to customers, contacts, external organisations and colleagues ensuring that they receive appropriate guidance about policies, procedures.
- You will be required to minute meetings, face to face and online, e.g., steering groups and service team meetings.
- Day to day you will draft documentation, manage diaries including booking travel, and make appointments as necessary.
- It will be key for you to provide support to our Personal Assistants to cover during busy periods and for annual leave.
- You will be responsible for co-ordinating responses to queries, e.g Member of Parliament enquiries, complaints and requests from initial contact with the customer all within the allocated time frame. For those issues that you are not able to resolve are promptly relayed to more senior members and the customer is informed accordingly.
- Providing a wide and varied range of administrative tasks to assigned projects, you will ensure written reports are compiled, support is provided, and records are accurate which will help to inform decision making.

**What we need from you**:

- It is required for you to hold a minimum qualification of 3 grade C’s at GCSE including English and Maths or you will hold equivalent relevant experience within a similar role in administration.
- You will be able to communicate effectively to service users, professionals and partnership agencies using a variety of media.
- It is essential you have experience in using databases, including running standard reports, analysing data and presenting findings.
- You must have experience of basic financial procedures e.g. petty cash, invoicing etc.
