Community Resuscitation Programme Officer

London, United Kingdom British Heart Foundation Full time

At British Heart Foundation (BHF), we believe survival from cardiac arrest shouldn’t depend on your postcode. That’s why as part of our Community Resuscitation work, we’ve set up a community defibrillator funding programme, to ensure communities that urgently need these lifesaving devices can access them, no matter where they live.

Following the success of the first year of the programme, we’re now looking for a Programme Officer to support delivery of this activity in communities who need it most.

**About the role**

As our Community Resuscitation Programme Officer, you’ll play a key role in delivering this ground-breaking work, helping to create a real-life saving impact in community resuscitation. You’ll ensure the processes for our programmes are implemented efficiently and effectively, that our customers' needs are appropriately identified, and they receive the best possible experience.

**Working arrangements**
Please note this is a fixed term contract for 18 months.

This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.

At BHF we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office, at least one day each week, on average. The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.
- Please note that we are unlikely to be able to sponsor applicants in respect of this role due to the role not meeting the minimum salary criteria to be eligible for sponsorship._

**About you**

To succeed in this role, you’ll have:

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in customer service, able to interpret and understand customer requirements and adapt to fit their needs
- A proven track record of managing your workload and key areas of responsibility, effectively prioritising tasks, and you’ll be comfortable delivering to deadlines
- A willingness to learn new skills and build knowledge of different areas of the organisation
- Able to develop strong working relationships with internal colleagues and external stakeholders

**About us**

We value and respect every individual’s unique contribution, celebrate diversity, and make inclusion part of what we do every day.

Our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Strategy, Igniting Change, along with our internal EDI group, Kaleidoscope, and a growing number of employee network groups (our Affinity Groups), help us create an environment where all our colleagues and volunteers can succeed.

**Interview process**

Interviews will be held via MS Teams and include a short presentation.
