**Qualifications**:Recognised Accredited ISVA Qualification is highly desirable

**Duration**:Minimum 3 months with possible extension

Our client, a charity that provides support to victims of sexual abuse, is looking to recruit an experienced CHISVA to join their specialist team within the East Midlands. 1-2 days in the office, the rest of the week will be home-based or seeing clients.

Synopsis of duties:

- Providing a pro-active service to victims of sexual abuse/ exploitation within and outside of the criminal justice system
- Ensuring clients that have been referred to the service are contacted within 24 hours where possible
- Carrying out risk assessments and support needs analysis and support plans are developed
- Managing a high caseload of clients

Essential Requirements:

- Extensive experience of working with victims of sexual abuse/ CSE.
- Proven track record of supporting children and young people whilst successfully carrying and managing a complex caseload within a community-based setting
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of child protection, safeguarding, safety planning, risk assessments, Criminal and Civil Justice Systems
- Ability to manage crisis and complex situations
- Enhanced DBS issued within the last 12 months and/ or registered on the DBS Update Service
