We have an exciting opportunity, initially 6 month contract which has potential to be extended for an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our team.

The role

As an Accounts Receivable Assistant: You will be part of the UK accounts receivable team and play a key role in supporting multiple entities across the business with accounts payable processes and reporting. You will report to the Accounts Payable/Receivable Supervisor, you will work with colleagues at all levels across the department ensuring and supporting the accounts receivable function runs efficiently within this fast-paced environment. We can develop and support you to
- Create invoices or credit notes, checks for correct coding, VAT and approvals
- Submission of invoices in format and method specified by business /customer including appropriate back up where required
- Processes changes in master data and ensures proper authorisation including creating new customer accounts
- Allocating cash received to customer accounts as per policy
- Proactive and rigorous chasing of aged and current debt
- Handles Accounts Receivable (AR) related questions from external customers and Fugro entities
- Continuously looks for improvements in the AR processes
- Assists with month-end close duties and other tasks when necessary
- Works according to Fugro FSSC process model.

Desirable
- Previous accounts receivable experience in a fast-paced environment
- Experience of Microsoft Navision and PSO
