SF Recruitment have partnered with a Manufacturer in Coventry, who are looking to bring an HR Officer in to work alongside a brilliantly supportive HR Manager. This is a very generalist role where coaching and development will be constantly on offer, andthere's the opportunity to work from home on Fridays.
Responsibilities will include:
? Ensure accurate and effective administration of HR systems/databases
? Ensure Employees are paid accurately and on time - Using Crown T & A System, Run reports to collate shift allowance, overtime, absence and other payroll adjustments.
? Provide administration support of the Crown T&A System for all employees, producing Reports (Banked Hours, Holidays, Absence, Overtime etc.).
? Ensure a robust effective new starter process is in place for all levels including contracts and obtaining references
? Assist with the recruitment and new starter process including contracts, induction and probationary reviews
? Processing leavers and transfer accurately calculating holidays, workdays and salary.
? Collation of KPIs and reports for management information (absence management, Labour Turnover etc.)
? Administration of effective Occupational Health Services and support health and well-being initiatives where required. Arrange surveillance appointments to ensure compliance
? Support the Employee Forum process by ensuring the arrangements are in place for meetings
? Work in partnership with Managers on performance management, absence management, engagement, employee relations, resourcing and growth and development
? Provide an advisory service to Employees ensuring that they are fully aware of their rights and entitlements
? Support the HR Manager with grievance, disciplinary and capability investigations and hearings
Ensure the provision of effective Occupational Health Services and lead health and well-being initiatives. Arrange surveillance appointments to ensure compliance
? Provide all Employees with accurate Terms and Conditions and ensure any updates are communicated
? Provide administration support the HR Manager
? Provide administration in relation to the Company's Employee Engagement Survey
? Support the accurate collation and monitoring of learning and development plans and administration and accurate monitoring of training events as required
? Create and audit Standard Operating Procedures in relation to responsibilities of the role
? Ensure the HR Team have required resources by monitoring the consumables used and reordering and restocking as required
? Ensure invoices are paid in a timely manner by raising requisitions as required
? Initiate and Support improvement activities across the department/wider business
? All employees have a duty of care to follow / adhere to all Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) procedures, processes and challenge unsafe acts and behaviours
