We are a rapidly growing quality homecare provider supporting Bedford town and nearby villages. We have been rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission and to support us through our next phase of growth an exciting opportunity has arisen for the role as community Field Care Supervisor
You will play an integral part in managing the daily communications between the team and care assistants. You must be extremely personable as you will be working with the entire team to make sure all our valued Clients needs are met. This role is extremely fast paced and requires someone truly dedicated and able to remain positive and professional when working under pressure.

**Main duties and responsibilities include**:
- Provide support to our caregivers in their day-to-day job and be keen to **develop and mentor** those around you.
- Onboard new carers and introduce them to clients
- Participate in new client assessments, complete and update care plans and risk assessments.
- Draw up tailored person-centred care plans for new clients
- Ensure all services are compliant with legislations, CQC standards and regulations
- Monitor and assess all clients for customer satisfaction
- Responding to queries from clients
- To participate in the growth and development of the business, achieving targets and delivery within budgets
- Deliver care calls as required in emergencies and gaps in rota
- Take a turn on a rota basis to manage the office on-call telephone support service (paid as extra shifts)
- Continually review and improve processes to ensure the most effective and efficient service is being delivered
- Act on own initiative and exercise decision making skills, as far as possible and wherever appropriate
- Building relationships with clients and families to ensure we deliver personalised care
- To ensure training needs of all staff are met effectively - implement induction programmes and identify and provide for on-going training needs
**Role Requirements**
- You must hold a valid driving licence and access to a reliable car
- Experience within a health care environment
- Relevant qualification, such as Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care
- Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and flexible, with a willingness to participate in an on-call system for out of office hours
- Extremely well organised, excellent planning and prioritising ability with high attention to detail
- Ability to establish and maintain effective professional working relationships
- Strong administration skills and ability to manage multiple work loads

**Hours, Salary & Flexibility**
This is guaranteed hour role on an annual base salary of £25k and flexibility in your work pattern will be essential plus holiday pay**, **and all mileage paid for.
As we are new branch there is plenty of scope for progression and we will always look to promote from within, which is supported by the relevant training and coaching from national office to help you move up the career ladder, should you wish.

We are part of a network of 80 Right at Home branches that focus on quality of care. Around 34% of our branches have been rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission including the Bedford Office.
