Job Summary

AdvantageCare Physicians is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our care team as a Care Team Supervisor. In this role, you will provide professional nursing care to patients and support efforts to ensure high-quality patient satisfaction, safety, and care standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide clinical supervision to the patient care team, including delegation of responsibilities, mentoring, evaluating, educating, and counseling staff.
  2. Act as the primary liaison between patients, staff, and physicians, supporting the Advanced Care Model.
  3. Organize and provide general nursing care to patients, including administering prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and per orders.
  4. Ensure nursing practices of the care team and own practices are in accordance with nursing standards, local, state, and federal guidelines, and organizational policy.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (R)
  • Current unencumbered New York State Registered Nurse license (R)
  • Strong knowledge of professional nursing theory, regulations, and practices to give and evaluate patient care (R)
  • Ability to maintain quality control standards, including knowledge of policies and procedures related to infection control, environmental safety, patient confidentiality, and common safety hazards (R)
