**Job Title**: Finance Administrator
**Location**: Romford, Primary School
**Position Type**: Temporary to Permanent
**Working Hours**: Monday to Friday, 8:30AM - 16:00
**Hourly Rate**: £14-£17 per hour (depending on experience)
**About the Role**:
We are seeking a dedicated Finance Administrator to join our team at a vibrant primary school located in Romford. This is a temporary to permanent position, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to the efficient financial management of our school.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Process invoices, payments, and expenses in a timely manner.
- Assist in budget preparation and monitoring expenditure.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain financial spreadsheets.
- Prepare financial reports and provide support for audits.
- Assist with payroll processing and pension administration.
- Liaise with suppliers, staff, and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.
- Support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a finance administration role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Proficiency in financial management software, with FMS experience desired.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to work, with a commitment to providing excellent service.
