Finance Admin Support

**The opportunity**
We’re looking for a Finance Admin Support to join our expanding team based in Hull.
Reporting to our Accounts Receivable Manager the purpose of your role is to aid revenue recovery, ensure we accurately recover VAT on bad debt. Account reconciliation support for both high & low value debt. This will be an office based role for an initial duration of 3 months working 25 hours a week.
**What you’ll be doing**
- Short term role within the Financial Operations Ops/Finance teams.
- Supporting the clean-up of debtors ledgers for irrecoverable debt
- Supporting the process to recover VAT on debt which will be written off.
- Account reconciliation
**What you’ll need to succeed**
- Accounts Receivable/collections experience.
- Accounting qualification or studying towards is desirable.
- Experience of VAT recovery process.
- Process orientated and well organised.
- Ability to work autonomously or with limited guidance.
- Good communication skills
- Good excel skills.
- Attention to detail.
- High level of accuracy
**Skill/technical**
It would be great if you had working knowledge of Oracle Netsuite but this isn’t essential.
