**Main duties of the job**:
The post holder will be a proactive team member responsible for providing effective and efficient clerical and administrative support to the Health & Safety Team. The role will involve the coordination and implementation of office procedures and will require a high degree of organisational skills and excellent working knowledge of administrative systems.

**Essential criteria**:

- Educated to GCSE, ‘O’ level or equivalent in English / Maths.
- NVQ3 Administration or equivalent qualification or experience
- Word processing / typing certificate to RSA II level ECDL Qualification or equivalent

**Knowledge, Skills, Training & Experience**:
**Essential criteria**:

- Ability to work with confidential issues.
- Previous Office experience.
- Experience of successfully working within tight time frames and to deadlines.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- Proven organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload with interruptions and changing priorities.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise own workload.

**Desirable criteria**:

- Previous experience working in an NHS environment.
