Theatre Team Leader

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6, Orthopaedic Surgery Scrub, Team Leader to join the team at Wansbeck General Hospital on a 12 month secondment basis.
We are looking for an experienced practitioner/Nurse to lead and manage teams trust wide within the scrub team of band 6s in Orthopaedics who will based at Wansbeck Hospital.
You must be dynamic, flexible and forward thinking and motivated to drive change and creative ways of working to cover trust wide service needs.
This role will feed into our emergency hospital in Cramlington covering the emergency surgical services.
- Develops, implements, and evaluates programmes of care for their clinical area.
- To be responsible for the provision of nursing care and maintain high clinical standards.
- To exercise accountability as set out in the NMC/HPC Code of Professional Conduct.
- Take responsibility for the management of a clinical area and take charge in the absence of the Theatre Team Manager.

- To assist in the provision of nursing care and maintain high clinical standards.
- Develop over time and contribute to the management of a clinical area and take charge in the absence of the theatre team manager.
