The post holder under direction will assist in providing a service to support the maintenance of the Electronic Rostering systems by being responsible for the accurate entry of employee data into the computer and validating input where necessary.

The post holder will be responsible for dealing with queries via the helpdesk number and passing on to relevant staff members where appropriate. The post-holder will also be responsible for the production of reports and advising users on best practice.

This post will included having responsibility for providing a comprehensive range of administrative duties and will be responsible for supporting the on-going management of the Liverpool University Hospitals rosters including liaison with staff, updating rostering systems and communicating rosters to the teams and be a central point of contact.

The post holder will provide an efficient and effective high quality rostering data administration service, ensuring data is kept up to date and that changes are completed in a timely manner.

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was created on 1 October 2019 following the merger of two adult acute Trusts, Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.

Manage and maintain the document and data control process within the roster department, using defined systems
Issue any relevant weekly reports to the relevant member of staff.
Correlation of all documentation, logging, filing and distribution accordingly, ensuring accurate audit trail is maintained.
Control the quality system within the Rostering team, capturing all relevant processes, and review regularly.
To attend and minute meetings as and when required, maintain a log of required actions and decisions.
To answer the helpdesk phone line, deal with any queries possible and escalate where necessary to the other roster staff members.
To deal with some payroll queries, assist in payroll production and run payroll reports where required.

To assist in training sessions of Roster systems with the Roster administrators.
Provide administrative support to the rostering team in all aspects of work relating to the continued electronic rostering system roll out. This will also include the co-ordination of diaries, arrangement of meetings, venues and catering requirements etc.
Undertaking general administration duties including typing, photocopying, distributing and filing all correspondence, dealing with incoming mail and telephone calls/enquiries.
Create spreadsheets from data generated on eRostering and ESR. The reports are provided as and when necessary.
