An exciting opportunity for a 9 month secondment, predominantly Monday-Friday 0730-1530 with some long days, for someone with existing clinical skills to support T3 manage complex wounds, support patient safety and provide staff education.

**You will support the ward to maintain patient safety through**:

- Facilitate education and training for ward staff in wound management but also support mandatory training
- Contribute to audit and improving patient care and experience
- Support ward staff with day-to-day patient care; including preparing and transferring patients for theatre, procedures, and discharge, administering medications, and maintaining patient safety
- Liaise and work with all members of the MDT

The ward is supported by a very experienced vascular nurse specialist team and works closely with all members of the MDT.
