Mechanical Project Manager - Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare & Education projects - Cambridgeshire

A well-established M&E Contractor based in Cambridge; Cambridgeshire are actively looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to join their existing team.

The company has been trading in the East Anglia area for over 50 years, providing M&E services to a wide range of clients and businesses, working across various sectors such as commercial, industrial, healthcare and education. Typical project values range between 100k to £3 million joint M&E value.

As the Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible to ensure the project is completed according to schedule and budget undertaking effective planning to make sure the projects completed are profitable.

You will also be required to manage materials, subcontractor, installation, procurement and drawing programme to accord with installation and specification requirements.

Ideally you will need to have previous experience and a good track record of managing demanding mechanical projects within commercial, industrial, healthcare and education sectors.

Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience:
· Procurement of plant
· Procurement and control of labour
· Effective planning and project management skills
· Programming and re-programming of all works
· Carryout project administration-progress reports
· Working for a Building Services Contractor at a similar level
· Lead, drive and encourage site teams
· Overall knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of mechanical systems and their installation methods
· Time Served Apprentice or relevant Mechanical qualifications
· SMSTS
