My client is a manufacturer of industrial and commercial fresh water pump systems. They are looking for someone with level 2 electrical installations to train in the role of Field Service & Maintenance Pump Engineer. Shadowing a Senior Pump Engineer, this is a fantastic opportunity for a junior electrician or similar to grow their career, whilst learning new skills with a market leader.

This role is suitable for a junior electrician, electrical improver, electricians mate or someone who has recently graduated college or an apprenticeship with an electrical qualification. Training can take 6 to 18 months. Salary for a fully trained service engineer is around £45,000

Requirements:

C&G Level 2 electrical installation essential
Diploma, or apprenticeship trained in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering
Excellent communication skills
Driving licence required

Package:

£25k to £28k plus overtime.
Realistic earning potential once trained £45,000
37.5 hour contract
1.5 x pay overtime, 2 x pay bank holidays
1 in 6 on call (usually phone based)
28 days holiday
