SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Temporary Purchasing Administrator to join one of our growing clients based in Mansfield for an immediate start.
This is a temporary role for 3 months with a potential to extend to 6/9 months. Full-Time, 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday in their office in Mansfield.
Duties
Collaborate closely with the Buyer, Production, and Store teams.
Update and manage product and supplier information in the inventory system.
Handle administrative tasks for the purchasing department.
Communicate with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and product issues, including back-to-back ordering.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, serving as the primary contact for purchasing department inquiries.
Create and send Purchase Orders, analyzing historical sales data and trends to forecast future sales and maintain required stock levels.
Verify invoices against Purchase Orders to identify any discrepancies, such as overcharges.
The Ideal Candidate
Strong administration experience.
Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable with daily interactions with both suppliers and team members.
Ability to manage multiple tasks with a keen eye for detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with good general computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Desirable
Experience in purchasing and stock management background
Experience within Manufacturing/Engineering/Sales sector
Hourly Rate - £11.44 per hour
