Support Worker – Driver’s Only

Location: Seaford, East Sussex

Salary: £23,400 per annum plus benefits.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday on a shift rota basis.
Shifts: 7.00am to 3.00pm and 2.00pm to 10.00pm, Monday to Sunday.
Employment type: Full-time, Permanent.You MUST hold a UK Driving licence to apply for this role.

Hold a UK Manual Driving licence and willing to drive other vehicles.

Barclay House is an accessible 9-bedroom purpose-built residential home for adults with a range of disabilities. We specialise in supporting and assisting people with sight loss.

 Assisting with personal care, laundry, meal preparation, medication and administration;
 Getting to know the people you support and help them to live their lives meaningfully, in the way they wish to;
 Taking personal responsibility for the quality of care and assistance delivered to the people you support;
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the people you will be supporting;
Helping the people you support plan towards and achieve both short and long term aims; 
 Planning, promoting, and encouraging activities such as holidays and social engagements and life skills;
 Being creative and exploring new opportunities;
 Assisting the people we support to manage their personal affairs, including making, preparing, and attending any appointments.

About you
