Job RoleAs a Children's Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting children and young adults in care. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Working closely with children and young adults to understand their needs and provide individualized support

As a Children's Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting, safeguarding, and promoting the wellbeing of children and young people
- Assisting with daily routines, including working in the community and/or educational setting
- Organizing and facilitating social activities
- Transportation and working alongside a multi-disciplinary team to implement safe practice
- Offering high levels of supervision and support
- Working in line with Ofsted and CQC regulations
- Managing complex behaviors and crisis intervention
- Contributing to the young person's care plans and risk assessments, their review and implementation
To be successful as a Children's Support Worker, you'll need:
- A minimum of 12 months post-qualification experience working within a child and/or young adult setting
- To be over the age of 21 to meet industry regulations
- Knowledge in one of the following areas: EBD, SEMH, CSE, or SEN/SEND
- Diploma level 3 in children's and young people, desirable level 4
