Purpose

As the Estimator, you will use produce quotations and provide planning for a fabrication / metal work company.

If you can read engineering drawings and possess skills transferable to estimating/planning roles, training is available if you are not currently in an Estimating position.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with customers on estimates for new and repeat projects.
Implement efficient manufacturing methods and processes.
Provide accurate lead-times for each quote.
Identify and manage tooling requirements for new parts.
Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, and shopfloor teams as needed.
Communicate with suppliers and customers as required.
Support planning, production, and quality teams with methods, costing, and information.
Requirements

Previous estimating/planning experience is ideal.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
