Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our sales and estimating team at Acorn by Synergie. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for pricing jobs and helping with negotiating bids and tenders for a variety of architectural metalwork projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Estimating: You will be working closely with the design department to produce accurate quotes for clients.
  2. Material Take-Offs: You will be responsible for reading architects and engineers drawings to extract material requirements.
  3. Tender Documents: You will be drafting and preparing tender documents, including quotes and all supporting documentation.
  4. Negotiations: You will be negotiating with suppliers to obtain quotes and working with clients to discuss tender requirements.
  5. Quote Management: You will be responsible for following up on quotes and ensuring timely delivery of quotes to clients.

Requirements:

  • Previous estimating experience within the fabrication or construction industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
