Estimator Opportunity at Imperial Workforce

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Imperial Workforce, a leading building firm operating across the Domestic, Commercial, and Heritage sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Director to prepare accurate and competitive bids for various construction projects.
  • Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documentation to ensure a thorough understanding of project requirements.
  • Calculate material quantities and costs, labour hours, and equipment requirements to provide detailed project estimates.
  • Assist in the preparation of subcontractor and supplier inquiries and evaluations to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Review and analyze subcontractor bids and proposals to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Contribute to the preparation of project cost estimates and budgets to ensure accurate financial planning.
  • Manage change order requests and track costs to ensure project financial stability.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to support project decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in construction estimating, with formal training or qualification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction principles, methods, and materials, with experience across multiple construction disciplines desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure accurate project estimates.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy to maintain high-quality records and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project objectives.
