Estimator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our sales and estimating team at Acorn by Synergie. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for pricing jobs and negotiating bids and tenders for architectural metalwork projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimate costs for entire projects
  • Read and interpret architects and engineers drawings
  • Prepare material take-offs and tender documents
  • Negotiate with suppliers and obtain quotes
  • Draft and prepare quotes and documents within deadlines
  • Liaise with clients to discuss tender requirements
  • Follow up on quotes

Requirements:

You must have previous estimating experience within the fabrication or construction industry. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for this role.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm, Fridays 8.00am to 4.00pm

Location:

Office based in Taunton with site visits required
