Distribution & Warehouse Manager

This is a pivotal role within the business where you will have a strong presence amongst your team.

Reporting directly to the head of the operation, you will have a up to 10 section supervisors reporting to you who have over 90 operational staff between their respective departments.

Essential Experience

* Management experience gained within a large format warehouse operation - multi-department, 50 plus staff, supporting a high number of stores

* Strong people management skills, handling conduct/disciplinary issues

* Thorough understanding of warehouse management systems and processes

* High level problem solving skills

* Project management experience

The role will include:

* Ensuring short, medium and long terms goals and objectives are communicated, reviewed, and achieved

* Support key departments in labour resource planning for peak periods

* KPI management

* Building strong relationships across the entire business and gaining a good level of trust and credibility

* Being a key decision maker, able to implement solutions to day to day issues, as well as identifying areas of improvement together with workable solutions

Working 5 out of 7 days, core hours will be between 8 hours between 7am and 5pm

This is a high level role which has an attractive salary and benefits package:

* £40k to £45k per annum
