Position Overview:

Frontline is seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our client’s team. This crucial role is dedicated to driving growth and expanding the client’s diverse security services within the construction sector. If you have a solid background in sales and business development, along with a deep understanding of the security industry, this is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of security services.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve and surpass growth targets.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, with a focus on expanding services such as security guards, keyholding, alarm response, CCTV, event security, dog handling, and close protection.

Proactively seek out and secure new clients within the construction and security sectors.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, project managers, and industry stakeholders.

Create and implement innovative sales strategies and marketing campaigns to promote the client’s comprehensive security services.

Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals, customised to address the specific security needs of potential clients.

Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with construction companies, contractors, and industry associations.

Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver tailored security solutions, drawing on the full spectrum of the client’s services.

Lead contract negotiations, ensuring that agreements align with both company objectives and client expectations.

Conduct market research to monitor industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging security threats.

Provide insights and recommendations to enhance and expand the client’s service offerings.

Track and report on sales performance, business development activities, and market trends, providing regular updates to senior management.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the security or construction industry. A proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth is essential. You should have a deep understanding of security solutions, particularly those involving security personnel, CCTV systems, and specialist services like close protection and dog handling. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are a must, along with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
