About the Role

Cherry Professional is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading and growing sales, revenue, and profit for our client, a Technology & Design Manufacturer based in Derby.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the sales process to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Deliver an agreed number of prospecting activities to win new business.
  • Proactively manage key accounts to deliver annual growth targets.
  • Align with marketing initiatives to support conversion rates.
  • Administer the company CRM to ensure that the department is aligned.
  • Grow sales and revenue by proactive Business Development.

Requirements
  • Passion for Sales / Business Development.
  • Motivated to work independently to your Sales targets / Target driven.

  • Ideal experience in Service Sales.
  • Confidence prospecting and making cold introductions.
  • A candidate with proactive interest in Customer on-boarding.
  • Ability to deal with multiple large accounts.
  • Demonstrated experience of adopting a consultative sales approach to understand complex customer situations with senior stakeholders from multiple departments.
  • Demonstrated experience of executing sales campaigns to achieve agreed objectives, including tele-prospecting, networking exhibitions, and referral selling.
