BDS are currently working closely with our client based in the East Midlands, we are looking to recruit an Housing, Governance and Compliance officer to deliver oversight of regulatory and legal compliance within the organisation.

This role will help to ensure that the organisation remains compliant with all relevant regulations and standards, and able to implement new requirements and ensure continuous improvement.

As the Housing, Governance and Compliance officer you will continuously monitor regulatory and legal developments and changes affecting the housing sector.

You will develop and review of policies and procedures, with responsible managers, to ensure compliance with regulation.

You will support the development and delivery of communication plans to ensure external factors and changes affecting the organisation and customers.

You will have;

* Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to plan, organise and prioritise own work and coordinate with other colleagues.

* Experience in a regulatory or compliance role within the housing sector or a related field.

* A strong understanding and working knowledge of regulatory policies and procedures required within the social housing sector in England.

* Experience of compliance practices, regulatory changes and revising policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure regulatory and legal compliance.

32k-33k per annum on a 1 year FTC

The role is predominantly remote working
