Role: Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) – Early Intervention Team (Adults)
Band: 6
Location: Manchester
Duration: 3 months (ongoing)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
Start Date: ASAP
Rate of Pay: £25.50 per hour
Your Role as a Community Psychiatric Nurse:
As a member of the Early Intervention Team, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting individuals who are experiencing the first onset of mental health issues. Your responsibilities will include:
Patient Visits: Conduct home visits to assess and support individuals, ensuring their needs are met as they navigate early mental health challenges.
Medication Management: Administer and monitor medication as part of personalized treatment plans, ensuring adherence and effectiveness.
Support and Guidance: Engage with patients and their families, offering education and strategies to manage their conditions, while promoting recovery and resilience.
Risk Assessments: Carry out risk assessments to safeguard the well-being of patients, addressing any immediate concerns and ensuring a safe environment.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications: Active NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse.
Experience: Relevant experience in community mental health, particularly in early intervention.
Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a high-pressure environment.
Commitment: A strong dedication to providing the highest standard of care and making a positive impact on patients' lives.
